HAG ‘Q’ Doors
A range of bi-folding panel doors, designed for mainly industrial applications.
The door panel is made up of a robust, steel reinforced stretch-frame, holding pressure cast polyurethane foam between outer coatings. The outer skins can be either plastic coated hot dip galvanised steel or aluminium 0.7mm thick in a profiled or flat designed.
The pressure cast Polyurethane foam is completely Freon-free. (52Kg density/m³).
The reinforced stretch-frame is 5mm thick steel with anchor profiles reinforcing locks, hinges and mountings.
HAG offer a choice of the following hinges:
Type KGJQ Standard hinge
Normally used together with a steel plate door sill 100mm x 100mm fitted to the floor. In operation, the door is swept off; providing a flat and clean sealing surface, this hinge is adjustable vertically.
Type 3D Hinge
For use on level floors (or where the floor slopes towards the door). The 3D hinge provides multi-dimensional adjustment and lifting movement. Roller bearings run on the track and lift the door while moving. To adjust the door and seal vertically and sideways.
Operation:
Electrical or Manually operated.
Electrical operation is with a simple and efficient electric motor, the system incorporates an automatic locking system. Electrical operation is available in two versions, offering closing rates of 8 seconds or 12 seconds.
Manual operation – operated and locked from the inside, as standard, using a padlock on an external cremone bolt. As an extra, the cremone bolt can be fitted with a cylinder lock.
Sealing system
Four different corner sealing joints placed around the door. The rubber sealing system provides insulation and tightness tested values according to European Standards.
HAG sealing system values -1.5m³/m²/h to 150 Pa.
Door holder:
When in the open position the door leafs are held back with the door holder for safety. The door holder engages and locks when the door is opened and is manually disengaged before closing.
Doors that open inwards can be fitted with a gas spring controlled holder with a semi-automatic opening mechanism. When the set time limit is reached the door holder deactivates and allows the door to close automatically.
Safety:
Sensors built in the sealing system are activated when an object touches the rubber seal, disengaging the door.
Windows:
Windows can be placed in variable combinations and sizes within the door panel as extra. Standard windows consist of aluminium frames, with the option of powder-coated finishes . All window frames are constructed with an open thermal bridge and toughened insulated double glazed units as standard.
