Fireguard Roller Shutter
The Fireguard Type FG01 Roller Shutter is designed for areas which require fire resistance of up to 4 hours.
The doors comprise 76mm curved, solid 20 gauge lath (nominally 76mm x 0.71mm), with galvanised bright rolled mild steel finish. Polyester powder coating is available as an optional finish.
The shutter box is manufactured from 0.91 bright spangle galvanised pressed steel, available in different designs to suit project requirements. Options include polyester powder coating.
Guide rails are available in two sizes:
5000mm wide – 63 x 32 x 3mm.
7000mm wide – 100 x 32 x 3mm.
Operation:
Electrically operated through an industrial grade single phase motor, controlled by a three function starter – up/ stop / close.
An Auto Reset Solenoid is fitted to enable closing when receiving a signal from the fire alarm. The motor will automatically unbrake and the shutter will close through gravity.
The FCP03 Fire panel can be interconnected to the fire alarm system to allow closing when the fire signal is received. An audio / visual warning and timer delay can also be provided.

Override - The provision of a separate 13 amp fused spur is required for installation.
Manual overrides and supplied for shutters which are to be installed over entrance/exit doorways to permit operation in the event of a power failure, usually from one side only.

Armourguard Type C2
Consist of 76mm curved solid 22gauge laths, (nominally 76mm x 0.71mm), galvanised with HP200 Plastisol colour coated finish to outside face and standard corrosion resistant finish to reverse side and designed for commercial and industrial high security applications.
HP200 is Corus roofing and cladding steel with a 2000 micron (nominal thickness) high-performance Plastisol coating on a Galvatite hot dip zinc coated substrate to BS EN 10146.
The standard reverse side coating is a specially formulated two-coat protective system of corrosion resistant primer topped with a heat cured, high-performance polyester, suitable for most internal environments.

Security:
Standard shutters lock automatically at the top when fully lowered. The bottom section of the shutterbox is riveted after installation. The fixing screwheads are rendered unusable and are concealed behind cover caps. Optional 30mm x 20mm angle can be fixed on to the sill.
Operation:
Swivel belt winder – For shutters up to 15kg.
A swivel winder coils the belt when it is pulled to open the shutter. The belt is 14mm wide and grey in colour. External shutters are supplied with a guide tube to protect the belt through the building wall.
Geared belt winder – For shutters between 15kg and 25kg. 1:3 ratio with removable handle for belt operated shutters.
Rod crank operated - for shutters up to 25kg.
