Constructed to the latest safety standards BS EN 1634-1 & BS 476 Part 22 this electric roller shutter is manufactured from 76mm cold rolled 20 gauge galvanised steel sections.
The fireguard FG shutters are safety device’s that form a protection barrier against the spread of property fire for up to 4 hours and can be linked to many closing requirements such as audio alarm, visual beacon, time delay or subject to local fire officers advice.

Auto Reset solenoid for integration with fire alarm to enable the motor to automatically unbrake and close under controlled decent.
FCP03 Fire panel which can be interconnected to the Fire Alarm to allow closing when receiving fire signal. Audio visual warning and timer delay.

Important note: Maintenance of fire shutters is required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for companies. Failure to do so may invalidate insurance cover and building fire certification under the control of the local fire officer.
It is essential that the structural surround to the opening has a fire rating o at least the equivalent to the fireguard product specified and is sufficient for fixings to ensure fully compliant installation.
