Planned Maintenance

Regular servicing of doors and shutters is vital for maintaining standards of Safety and Reliability.

Growing regulation of the workplace is putting extra obligations on employers to meet Legislation. They must ensure all equipment, including doors and shutters, is suitable for its intended purpose, is in good repair and is subject to a monitored programme of maintenance.

HAG can provide compliance through its planned maintenance programmes, individually written to each customer requirements.

Benefits from having your products underwritten on a HAG planned maintenance schedule include:

  • Increased operational life expectancy for your product
  • Reducing costly & inconvenient repairs by replacing worn components prior to failure
  • Operators are reassured of there Safety
  • Risk of loss of revenue is reduced through regular inspection
  • Compliance with legislation is achieved by documentation of all works in the product maintenance pack.
  • Warranties can be extended through regular servicing
  • If minor damages are left unattended they may lead to a deterioration of the door which can result in more serious repairs or in some cases harm for the operator.

There is a legal requirement that all doors must be maintained regularly under the current Health and Safety Act 1974 Regulation 18(2)(B). Failure to do so could result in prosecution and may invalidate your warranty.
