HAG Ltd. has maintained a long‑standing partnership with the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), delivering essential door solutions, security roller shutters, insulated industrial doors, and comprehensive maintenance services across their network of sites. This partnership ensures that critical access points remain secure, functional, and compliant — supporting EEAST’s 24/7 emergency and patient‑transport operations, and safeguarding the continuity of vital healthcare services.
Given the Trust serves a region with a resident population of ≈ 6.3 million people over 7,500 square miles — including a mix of dense urban areas, rural communities, major transport routes, and airports — reliable door infrastructure is fundamental. Any access issues (doors / shutters failing, poor insulation, security vulnerability) across their many facilities could delay operations, compromise security, disrupt patient transport or emergency response, or increase energy and maintenance costs.
Our role has been to help mitigate those risks — ensuring secure, efficient, and robust door systems, along with rapid‑response maintenance when needed.

THE PROJECT & TECHNICAL SCOPE
Our ongoing commitment with EEAST spans three interlinked areas:
New Installations – Security Roller Shutters & Insulated Industrial Doors
- Security Roller Shutters — heavy-duty, reinforced roller shutters with robust locking mechanisms, anti‑lift devices and durable metal slats. These provide strong protection against unauthorised access, forced entry, vandalism or accidental damage in high‑risk areas (e.g. vehicle storage, equipment bays, medical supplies storage).
- Insulated Industrial Doors/Doorsets — designed with thermal insulation and weather-sealing in mind: their insulated slats or panels reduce heat loss/gain, enabling controlled internal climates (important for vehicle bays, storage rooms, or facilities that house sensitive equipment). This helps stabilise internal temperatures, reduce heating or cooling load, and improve energy efficiency — particularly beneficial across a large estate of buildings with varied uses.
- Durability & Operational Performance: Our industrial door systems are built for repeated daily use, with smooth operation, corrosion‑resistant finishes, and weather resilience — vital for ambulance stations, maintenance garages, and patient‑transport hubs exposed to frequent use, vehicle movement, and external weather conditions.
