Open in design, it was very important to the architect of Trinity Leeds that the look, feel and security of the retail units reflected the development’s design, whilst preserving the presentation and security needs of the retail businesses.
Initial contact between the centres Core Design Team and HAG’s Marketing Dept presented the client with HAG’s Clearguard System as the solution to stringent design criteria; suitably impressed, the client agreed and Clearguard became specified as the ‘front of house’ shutter system to be employed within the centre. The innovative design of this fully transparent UV-stabilised polycarbonate shutter, with stylish silver anodised hinges and guides, are ideal where high vision yet security is essential. Trinity Leeds liked HAG’s Clearguard roller shutters so much that they had them installed in the centre’s own customer service lounge entrance.
“It is a fantastic development, and the way it seamlessly integrates between the main streets makes it really accessible” says local resident Ben Hampshire. “The structure of the building is striking in appearance. Trinity Leeds could well establish the city as a contender for shopping capital of the North.”
