SR3 Insurance Roller Shutters Certified to LPS 1175 Issue 7
Designed for medium to high risk security commercial & domestic applications that required SR3 insurance certified roller shutters. Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 12489 and BS EN 12426. With unique patented self-locking technology. Tested to 5 minute attack time from a range of tools including chisels, drills, crowbar & hacksaws.
SR4 Insurance Roller Shutters Certified to LPS 1175 Issue 7
Designed for high risk security commercial and domestic applications that require SR4 insurance-certified roller shutters. Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 12489 and BS EN 12426. With unique patented self-locking technology. Tested to 10 minute attack time from a range of tools including grinders, jigsaw, drills, crowbar, and sledgehammer.
The LPS Loss Prevention Standards are issued by the LPCB Loss Prevention Certification Board, an independent third-party service provided by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and is recognized by all major insurance companies. The system grades shutters from Level 2 to Level 5 depending on their level of resistance to sustained attack.

The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) is an independent third-party service provided by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). They test products to Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) for security and fire standards and are recognized by all major insurance companies.
Certified roller shutters have been tested by the LPCB in attack tests using various types of equipment, varying from hand tools to electrical tools, in an attempt to gain access through the roller shutter.
According to the LPS 1175 standard, the Security Rating (SR) relates to the security level at which the roller shutter is certified to and the level to which it meets the loss prevention standard. For security shutters, these security ratings range from SR2 (the lowest) to SR5 (the highest). HAG Insurance Roller Shutters are specifiable with security ratings SR2, SR3 and SR4.
