Loading bay door maintenance for Siniat’s Bristol factory

Siniat is the recently re-branded supplier of gypsum-related building materials in Europe.  With a headquarters in Avignon in the south of France it now employs 4,200 people across 13 countries in Europe and South America.  Siniat is itself owned by the Euro3B turnover building products group Etex.

A core strength of Siniat is its investment in R&D to develop innovative products that are market leading in terms of water resistance, acoustic and fire performance and environmental sustainability.

Challenges and Goals

Siniat’s Bristol factory is its largest in the UK manufacturing 100 different products for the UK and Irish markets.  In January 2014, a new £250,000 quality assurance laboratory was opened on site that enabled production, maintenance and quality assurance teams to be located together for the first time.

The factory has 24 large warehouse loading bays and other access doors on site.  As the correct operation of these is critical to the operation of the plant, Siniat was looking for a company to provide routine and reactive repair services.

The Solution

Since 2013 HAG has provided twice-yearly statutory maintenance on all the industrial roller shutter and sectional overhead doors.  It also provides same day or next day call out should a fault occur.  All of the HAG engineering teams have completed their induction and are permitted to work on the premises.

Andy Lediard, Project and SAP Manager, said “We have been very pleased with the service provided by HAG, both the quality of the workmanship and the efficiency of its response”.

HAG is able to maintain HAG-supplied doors or any third party industrial doors or shutters anywhere in the UK.  For more information about our planned and reactive maintenance services please speak to a member of our team by calling 0800 072 3444.
