Outer face coated in 200 micrometer HP colour coat heavy duty plastisol to BS EN 10147. The reverse side with 2 coats of anti-corrosive primer. Recommended maximum width 10,000 mm.
The Armourguard Model C2 roller shutters are constructed from 76mm Curved, galvanised solid 22 gauge lath with HP200 plastisol colour coated finish to outside face and standard corrosion resistant finish to reverse side.

HP200 is British Steel’s roofing and cladding steel with a 2000 micrometre(nominal thickness) high-performance plastisol coating on a galvatite hot dip zinc coated substrate to BS EN 10146. The standard reverse side coating is a specially formulated two coat protective system of corrosion resistant primer topped with a heat cured high performance polyester. It is suitable for most internal environments.

Galvanised steel standard, polyester powder coat colours are available.
Standard guide rails: 38mm x 32mm x 3mm – 100mm x 32mm x 3mm dependant on width. Electric shutters require a 50mm x 50mm steel box section (both sides) used to allow for motor unit and safety brake. A 76mm x 50mm box section will be used for shutters over 160kg in weight (5000mm x 3200mm approximately).
Galvanised steel standard polyester powder coat colours are available.
A counter balanced spring ensures controlled raising and lowering with a key lock in-built at the bottom of the shutter for security.
A tubular motor within the barrel assembly with limit switches and thermal cut out to prevent overheating. Draw 240 volts and 0.5 – 2.5 amps dependant upon the shutter size. Provision of a 13 amp fused spur is required for installation
Design of this model will alter for three phase operation. Electrical requirements are dependant on usage, further details on request.
A manual override is included to operate the shutter in the event of a power failure. This is usually only Operable from only one side.
A counter balanced helical spring controlled via hand chain and chain lock to secure.
Standard security key switch or rocker switch. Other controls are available on request.
