HF240

A 240 minute fire protection curtain, with the benefit of 30 minutes irradiance. Tested to the latest European standards. This product can be installed in suspended or solid ceilings and comes complete with backup power supply. Multiple curtains up to 20 metres wide with an overlapping configuration, heights up to 6000mm. CERTIFIRE approved.

Standards

The HF240 Fire curtain is tested to the latest European standards BS EN 1634-1:2008, BS EN 1363-1:1999, BS EN 1363-2:1999, BS EN 12101 Annex B, EN13501-2:2007 + A1:2009.

Box

The Fire Curtain assembly comprises of a Box Housing in which sit the Motorised Barrel and wrapped Curtain. The Box is attached to Channel section Guides at each end – these Guides are the main fixing point for the entire system. The curtain is manufactured from a Woven Fibreglass and Stainless Steel Fabric, in many cases, this is coated with Intumescent Silicone.

Guide Rails:

100mm x 50mm Galvanised Steel – All Sizes

Head Box:

Up to 4m high = 180mm x 180mm / over 4m = 210mm x 210mm – All Galvanised Steel

Bottom Rail:

Industry Standard ‘Bell’ formed from Galvanised Steel

Operation:

Single Phase Electric through 24v DC Motor

Controls:

All Systems supplied with Gravity Failsafe Control Panel with In-Built Lead-Acid Battery support.

Typical arrangements:

Face or Reveal Fix to Steel, Masonry, Hardwood or Fire Boarded Softwood.

Finish:

Head box, Guides and Bottom Rail are Galvanised at source and can be Powder Coated as required to any Standard RAL or BS4800 colour fire curtains are naturally Silver Grey or Charcoal finish, dependant on specification.

Optional Extras :

Silicone optical resin rescue vision windows which allow emergency services to see into the area for rescue purposes. Positioning can be either at high or low level & will withstand direct flame at temperatures up to 1065°C for periods of up to 2 hours.

Maintenance:

Regular maintenance is required for ALL Safety Products by Law – Maintenance contracts available on request.
