The Fireguard FT range is a Compact tubular driven fire shutter that provides a fire protection barrier for 1 – 4 hours.
The Fireguard FT range is a fire roller shutter that can be specified as:
• 1 hour fire protection. FT01
• 2 hour fire protection. FT02
• 4 hour fire protection. FT04
The Fireguard FT Compact range is manufactured to BS EN 1634-1 and compliant to BS EN 16034:2014.
Constructed from steel sections of 76mm cold rolled 20 gauge galvanised steel. The FT60 shutter provides a defence against the spread of fire and can be used as a security door on a day to day basis. The compact design allows the FT compact range to be installed in areas where traditional fire shutters are not possible. The system can we linked to audio / visual deacon fire alarms to ensure automatic closing in case of fire detection
with battery backup in the event of power failure.

A tubular motor within the barrel assembly with limit switches and thermal cut out to prevent overheating. Draw 240 volts and 0.5 – 2.5 amps dependant upon the shutter size. Complete with battery back up system that will enable self closure in the event of power failure. Provision of a 13 amp fused spur is required for installation. Fire panel which can be interconnected to the Fire Alarm to allow closing when receiving Fire signal. Audio visual warning and timer delay
Important note: Maintenance of fire shutters is required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for companies. Failure to do so may invalidate insurance cover and building fire certification under the control of the local fire officer.
It is essential that the structural surround to the opening has a fire rating of at least the equivalent to the fireguard product specified and is sufficient for fixings to ensure fully compliant installation.
HAG Is accredited to install this fire protection product by Warrington fire through its FIRAS installation certificate scheme.
FIRAS is the mark of endorsement of competency in the installation of products and systems, vital for achieving the protection required and is accredited by UKAS to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
Insurances could be invalid if proof of a competent product installer is not verified.
