The Dock Plus HDT 8000 is a telescopic dock leveller which bridges the gap between the dock edge and vehicle by pushing out a horizontal safety lid that is fully compliant to European regulations BSEN1398. Available in three variations; free standing, concrete encased or suspended frame.

Product description

Dock plus HDT8000 telescopic dock leveller raises up to the height of the vehicle and then extends its safety lip horizontally out up to 1000mm, bridging the gap between loading bay and vehicle.

Common Uses

Loading Bay, Distribution Centers, Industrial Units, Hospitals, Retail Units.

Maximum Sizes:

6000kg to 9000kg capacity.

Construction

The deck is manufactured from 8mm to 10mm chequer plate dependent on overall size of the dock leveller.

The safety lip is manufactured from 12.5mm durbar plate with a 250mm leading edge. Steel supports are welded to the underside for reinforcement.

The base frame is manufactured from mild steel sections.

 

Operation

Dependent on the dock level size, the motor unit rating will be between 0.75 and 1.1kw and will require 415v 3 phase and earth. The IP55 control unit is wall mounted with a transformer at 24volts. A Hydraulic hose break cartridge is used for smooth operation.

Safety

Integral safety prop, integral toe guards and hazard marking to side edges.

A variance of 100mm is allowed for uneven trailer centres.

Finish

Galvanised steel as standard, polyester powder coat available on request.
