Fire Resisting Glass Doorset

The Fireguard FD05 Glass Doorset is a glass fire resistant door system tested to BS EN 1634-1. Specifiable as doorsets or automatic sliding doors for main passageways and entrances used in fire evacuation routes. Acoustic reduction up to 55dB. Ballistic resistant to BS EN 1522 & FB3NS to FB7NS. Intruder resistant to BS EN 1627 RC2 to RC5.

Product Overview

The Fireguard FD05 Glass Doorsets can be adapted to suit requirements and are type approved, with features including finger trap gaskets, around windows and arches.

The systems have profiles adapted for modular locks (85 mm) as well as narrow (20 mm) and wide (130 mm, 180 mm and 260 mm) profiles. These tested and approved systems also come in a wide variety of heights and widths.

Wall sections up to 3.45m height and with a free edge have been tested as per EN 1364-1 to ensure compliance up to EI 120, and 4 metres height sections up to EI 60.

Operation

The Fireguard FD05 Fire Resisting Glass Doorsets are manual operation as standard.

Sliding Doors are operated using Besam Unislide (including LD 550494).

Profiles

Profile depth of frames available at 65mm, 70mm and 90mm.

Sliding doors have a maximum section dimension of 10m x 3m, and the maximum door leaf dimensions are 1250 mm. This provides a maximum opening of 2210 mm for bi-parting sliding doors.

Finish

Our fire resisting glass door frames can be Powder Coated as required to any standard RAL or BS4800 colour.

Specification of Build

Note: Sliding doors must not be installed along evacuation routes and if required an emergency exit door should be installed at the side.
