External Steel Doors provide security from external intrusion and ease of exit in emergency situations. There are also specialist versions in the HAG steel door range that are Armoured to offer blast resistance, heavily insulated Acoustic models for noise reduction and specialist constructions for Fire Resistance, all fully tested and certified.
The doors are generally fabricated using corrosion resistant Zintec or Aluzinc. The entire range is fully specifiable in respect of dimension (up to 2900mm height and 1400mm wide per leaf), finish, colour, locks, door furniture and glazing. Additionally, operation can be specified as manual or electric.
Most of the doors can be supplied in a range of finishes including powder coating, wood grain and PVC laminate.
Our Steel door range can be fitted with hardware which is BS EN 1125: 2008 compliant; this classifies panic and emergency exit devices. This enables the doors to play their vital role in facilitating safe and effective escape in emergency situations.
Security of the Steel Door range is compliant with BS EN 1627:2011 (the standard for burglar resistance of pedestrian doorsets, windows, curtain walling, grilles and shutters) and/or PAS 24 (the standard for enhanced security performance requirements for door assemblies).
HAG offers an internal steel door (the AD70) that has been designed to offer the cosmetic benefits of the traditional timber door but with added strength and resistance to wear and tear. When installed with one of the eight wood grain laminate finishes it is hard to distinguish from a similar timber door. Additional features include anti-bandit glass, anti-finger trap devices, concealed closers and vision panels. These doors are widely deployed in public buildings such as banks, hospitals, schools and colleges.
Each door is tested against varying levels of the relevant standards mentioned above, so please discuss your requirements with a member of our technical sales team so that we can advise you.
