Tell me about a project where the original specification/design couldn’t work as proposed.

It is reasonably common for HAG to identify issues with an original specification or proposed arrangement.

Sometimes a product has been assumed to be possible when that particular product or configuration doesn’t actually exist. There can also be practical issues within the building environment — for example, other equipment such as heaters being positioned too close to a fire door.

When HAG identifies an issue, it is raised with the project team at the earliest opportunity. HAG can then explain the problem and, where possible, suggest an alternative or workable solution.
